Bachelor’s degree program
The degree course provides knowledge in the essential sub-areas of applied computer science, combined with insights into theoretical and mathematical principles, a technical focus and the opportunity to specialize within the profile area of medical informatics. Graduates are qualified to develop and apply information technology solutions, particularly in the field of software. The course also sets itself apart from similar programs at other universities by thinking outside the box and providing fundamental insights into the management of technologies, the connection between technology and society as well as soft skills relevant to the profession (presentation techniques, teamwork, time and self-management).
After completing the course, you will be able to develop practical software solutions, design IT systems and systematically analyze and solve complex technical problems. You will have a sound knowledge of programming, databases, data structures, networks and current areas of application in medical informatics.
