Bachelor studies
The course provides knowledge in the main areas of applied computer science, combined with insights into theoretical and mathematical principles, a technical focus and the opportunity to specialize within a profile area (medical informatics, nursing informatics, artificial intelligence). Graduates are qualified to develop and apply information technology solutions, particularly in the software sector. The course also sets itself apart from similar programs at other universities by thinking outside the box and providing fundamental insights into the management of technologies, the connection between technology and society as well as soft skills relevant to the profession (presentation techniques, teamwork, time and self-management).
After graduating, you will be able to develop practical software solutions, design IT systems and systematically analyze and solve complex technical problems. You will have in-depth knowledge of programming, databases, data structures, networks and current application areas such as artificial intelligence, medical informatics or nursing informatics.
