Social impact & Sustainability in Entrepreneurship Education – match or clash?
Date: Thursday, October 24, 2024
Location: Karlshochschule International University, Karlstraße 36 – 38, 76133 Karlsruhe
Let’s discuss how approaches to sustainability and social justice in entrepreneurial education can ensure innovation in companies. Let’s exchange ideas about cooperation between companies and (higher) education institutions. How can we as an educational institution ensure more sustainability, ethical responsibility and social justice in corporate education?
In his opening speech, Prof. Dr. Ulf-Daniel Ehlers will discuss entrepreneurial education in Europe and how European universities can structure their offerings in microcredits.
During the event, we would like to present our results from the two-year ENTREHUBS project, which aimed to integrate critical entrepreneurial thinking and action, particularly in subject areas outside the business faculties.
In three parallel workshops, we invite you to take a look at different perspectives on entrepreneurship education: A view from schools; sharing and trying out the online tool Future Skills Compass at universities; an entrepreneurial perspective on (social) entrepreneurship.
In the closing keynote, Manouchehr Shamsrizi will explain the role of imagination, innovation and entrepreneurial education for a fairer and more sustainable world.
Most of the event will be held in English. Parts of the event can also be attended online. More information in the agenda.
