Student commitment

Anything is possible if you know how and why.

I have a university in mind that is not just a charitable foundation on paper, but is actually active in and for society. I particularly notice it in the students because they show initiative and get involved in different projects. For example, they take part in the International Weeks against Racism with events, organize waste collection campaigns in the region or, together with locally active civil society organizations, organize opportunities for various stakeholders to meet and exchange ideas. They also make an important contribution to the cultural life of the city together with all interested citizens in the Karlshochschule’s Future Workshop.

I imagine that there is a special atmosphere here in which social problems are not only critically analyzed, but in which students use the skills they have learned in a variety of ways for a sustainable world.
