Karlshochschule International University
Karlshochschule International University meets or exceeds the stringent requirements of the following accreditation bodies and is officially recognized and authorized to award Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
System accreditation
System accreditation was granted by the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) on April 13, 2015 without any conditions. System accreditation by an external accreditation agency (FIBAA) enables Karlshochschule to accredit its degree programs itself in a self-accreditation procedure by an external expert commission. Since the system accreditation in 2015, all degree programs at Karlshochschule have undergone this accreditation procedure. In accordance with the resolution of the Accreditation Council of the Foundation for the Accreditation of Study Programs dated March 31, 2023, Karlshochschule International University was reaccredited until March 31, 2030.
Accreditation by the German Council of Science and Humanities
Karlshochschule has been state-recognized by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science since 2005.
With institutional accreditation, the German Council of Science and Humanities ensures that a non-state higher education institution can provide teaching and research services that meet recognized academic standards. The aim is to ensure both scientific performance and the functioning of its own quality control system.
