This year, the renowned business magazine “Capital” once again honored outstanding leaders as part of its “Top 40 under 40” summit. This year’s award winners include Professor Dr. Robert Lepenies, President of Karlshochschule International University, and Dr. Andrea Beierlein, alumna of Karlshochschule and Vice President Sales Strategy & Sales Support at Leoni.com, a global automotive supplier from Nuremberg.
Every year, the “Capital” magazine jury selects 40 personalities who are younger than 40 and have made outstanding achievements in the previous year. In the business, politics and civil society categories, both personalities stood out for their impressive careers and commitment.
Dr. Andrea Beierlein, a graduate of Karlshochschule with a degree in Intercultural Communication and Management, has had an impressive career in the healthcare and automotive industries. Since graduating, Dr. Beierlein has held key positions at Siemens Healthineers and LEONI and is currently Head of Sales Strategy & Sales Support at Leoni.com. Her extensive expertise in corporate restructuring, sound financial, strategic and sales knowledge together with her strong interdisciplinary and intercultural understanding have made her a sought-after expert and leader. Dr. Beierlein: “My time at Karlshochschule has sharpened my perspective on global challenges. The intercultural and interdisciplinary training gave me a solid foundation that I can still fall back on today”
“It is a great honor to be recognized once again by ‘Capital’,” says Professor Lepenies. “This recognition reflects the dedication and hard work of our team – and our commitment to providing transformative educational experiences at the Karls.”
